2021 OWRA CONFERENCE

November 5th - 7th

A UNIQUE AND VALUEABLE OPPORTUNITY FOR CONTINUED EDUCATION!

The Ohio Wildlife Rehabilitators Association's Annual Conference is one of the largest and longest running state wildlife rehabilitation conferences in the nation. The conference is held the first weekend in November of each year (dates subject to change), and is held in the central Ohio area, making travel convenient from any part of Ohio and surrounding states.

The OWRA Conference is a great opportunity to improve your knowledge and skills, network with other wildlife rehabilitators and educators, and have fun in the process. The conference program is structured to offer something for everyone, with presentations by some of the leading experts in the field of wildlife rehabilitation.

PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS

This year, the OWRA conference will feature many amazing speakers presenting on a plethora of wildlife rehabilitation topics. Register to reserve your spot and chance to learn about topics such as:

BANQUET AND KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

It's all about that food! And interesting speakers of course. But mostly food...

The 2021 conference will feature a Tour of Italy Banquet on Saturday night. Full conference attendance is not required to join in on the banquet. To register for the banquet, go to conference registration HERE and fill out the information for banquet attendance.

Keynote speakers this year will feature Doug Wynn and Harvey Webster:

  • Kicking off the conference during Saturday's breakfast will be our keynote speaker, Doug Wynn. Doug is a Herpetologist with distinguished awards including the Division of Wildlife’s Cardinal Award and Conservation Award, the Ohio Biological Survey’s Naturalist Award, and the Ohio Division of Parks Naturalist Award.

  • Not to be outdone by breakfast, Saturday's supper banquet will feature keynote speaker Harvey Webster. Harvey is the retired Chief Wildlife Officer and Ambassador Emeritus of Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
