Join OWRA for this once a year opportunity to improve your knowledge and skills, network with other wildlife rehabilitators, and have fun in the process! Our conference will feature 27-hours of education, and will feature topics ranging

Kicking off our conference will be our Keynote Speaker, Al Parker, Assistant Professor of Wildlife Conservation at Zane State College. Al has played an integral role in Ohio’s in several reintroductory programs of the 1980’s. Giving us “A Hope for Wings”, Al will share with us the natural history and recovery projects of the bald eagle, interspersed with personal comments on the peregrine falcon, osprey and barn owls.

The Annual Banquet will feature great food, cash bar, and lots of socializing and fun. We are excited to welcome Jim McCormac, as he takes us on a “Romp through Ohio’s Flora and Fauna”, sharing with us more than thirty-one years of his experiences discovering Ohio’s beauty. The annual raffle and silent auction will take place during the evening.

Last, but not least, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Julia Whittington, DVM will be returning as our featured veterinarian this year!  Click here for full list of our conference speakers and topics.
