Join OWRA for this once a year opportunity to improve your knowledge and skills, network with other wildlife rehabilitators, and have fun in the process! Our conference will feature 27-hours of education, and will feature topics ranging from raptor rehab care considerations and Permit Q&A to reptile husbandry and humane solutions to living with wildlife.

Kicking off our conference will be our Keynote Speaker, Bob Bills, to help us examine the True Value of Wildlife Rehabilitation and discover the answer to “Why do we do that?”  This presentation will debunk this theory, examine the many benefits of wildlife rehabilitation, and explain why rehabilitators are in a unique position to have a significant impact on wildlife conservation.

The Annual Banquet (included with your conference registration) will feature great food, cash bar, and lots of socializing and fun.  Our guest speaker will be the award winning naturalist, humorist and educator David Stokes.  David has been recognized by the Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education Teacher of the Year and is an “Aldo Leopold” award winner.  Using songs, stories, audio-visual materials and audience participation we will take a comical look at Nature’s Music: Sounds in Nature.

Last, but not least, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Sarah Reich, DVM will be returning as our featured veterinarian this year!  Click here for full list of our conference speakers and topics.
